ISO27002:2007 | – Cloud assurance compliance


ISO/IEC 27002:2007 provides a code of practice on implementing Information Security within an organisation. Certification of the implementation of ISO27002:2007 is not possible – ISO27001 is used as a certifiable standard of the implementation of the Information Security Management System. (ISMS)

This standard takes a traditional approach to security and has no cloud-specific controls. The few outsourcing-related controls focus on personnel security and working with contractors. ISO is currently working on an update providing controls related to cloud computing.
